Ventilation table for steady state solar simulator

Article Nr. 42.1616/0
  • Aluminium, anodized E6/EV1
  • Items supplied:
Baseframe made of different MiniTec aluminium profiles, dimensions approx. 3500x2500x1000 mm. The air ducting is fitted in the upper area of the frame, the supply lines are laid in the lower area of the frame.
  • A 2-axis linear system is mounted on the frame. The lift of the axes is approx. 3500 mm in the X-direction and approx. 2500 mm in the Y-direction.
  • A support for the module to be tested is mounted on the Y-axis trolley. We assume a maximum module size of 2000x1200 mm.
  • In addition, a support frame is attached, which is manually adjustable, for placing multiple modules on the table. The linear system is driven via SEW AC servo drives. Die max. travel speed is approx. 750 mm/s.
  • Energy chains are provided for both axes. A junction box for the module cable can be fastened onto the shelf. The measuring cables can be laid through the energy chain. The reference cell for determining the homogeneity is mounted on the support.
  • The table is controlled using the Siemens S7 controller. Installed in a control cabinet on one side of the table. A mobile panel is used to operate and monitor the installation. Messages are displayed on this panel and various system-specific parameters are also stored in it.
  • 2 emergency stop palm buttons are mounted on the table for safe stopping of the drive motors. The control is prepared for remote maintenance.
  • Operating modes for the installation control:
    1) In manual mode, the axes can be moved manually via the mobile panel. Set values can be entered and approached.
  • 2) In remote mode it is possible to predefine setpoint values via a serial interface and to start the positioning. In this way, a test program can be set by an external computer.
  • The protocol for communication with the computer still has to be agreed. In remote mode, it must be ensured that there is no one in the traversing range of the installation.
  • Additional safety precautions must be taken for this (safety fence, light curtains, safety foot mats or comparable) which depend on the spatial conditions on site and are not included in the scope of supply. 2 wire mesh frames are fitted for simulation of shading.
  • The distance between the module and wire mesh can be adjusted within the range of 100-1000 mm.
  • Comments:
Delivery of the installation completely assembled
No setup, no commissioning on the end customer’s premises planned.
The acceptance of the installation takes place at MiniTec in Schönenberg-Kübelberg.
    Operation as a laboratory system.
